My Digital Studio!

I have really been having fun putting these simple pages in my scrapbook this month! I think I will always buy the digital downloads that include sentiments! This one is from "Word Play". It is perfect for this photo of my son, who always wanted to be involved with planes. Now he is a full time mechanic at the airport and he is getting his pilots license to fly!

Isn't little Abby cute! Another simple, but elegant page. Again I used the Vintage Overlay stamp, but I changed the color to Blushing Bride.

My Digital Studio!

I am having fun with National Scrapbook Month and My Digital Studio! I can't wait to get these printed and added to my book. I really like the quality from the Stampin' Up! printing services. For this photo I added the Vintage Overlay #2, changed the color to Early Espresso and lowered the opacity so that it appears very faint.

I learned a cute little highlighting trick on Stampin Connection. I resized the square punch and changed the color to Peach Parfait. Then placed it behind the words "You are a delight" and lowered the opacity. It looks highlighted with a little bit of color!

My Digital Studio Page!

The weather is getting better to get out and take some pictures! I need to start filling my scrapbook. This page is so simple and I love the full page photo effect. Simply add a photo box to the size of the page and when you place your photo in it, you can double click it to crop and move the photo.
Try different effects...for instance, once your photo is placed on the page where you want it, go to the edit menu, copy and then "Paste in Place". This will place your copy directly on top of the first one. Now, click on "Photo effects" (on the right side, in your "Design Center" for Photos) and change it to "sepia". Since you are changing the top copy of the photo, reduce your opacity to around 60 or 70% (again in the "Design Center"). This will give your photo a slight sepia tint.

Mother's Day Card!
Mothers and Grandmothers love LOVE pictures! Here is an easy mini album you can send as a card for Mother's Day. Start with a 12" x 8" piece of Designer Series Paper.
Score the 12" side at 3", 6" and 9".
Turn and score at 5-1/2".
Fold bottom up and then accordian fold.
Adhere each end of the outside pockets.
Add your pictures!

Happy Mother's Day!

On the Grow!

Remember the little Pocket Calendars I gave my Club members? I finally decorated mine! This is a Must-Have stamp set. I love how with a little Baja Breeze, the jar looks like glass. I cased this right from the cover of the Summer Mini Catalog. A tip - Stamp the "A-Z" background after you finish watercoloring....mine washed out because I did it first.
