Botanical Gazette Designer Series Paper!

I saw this set on Stampin' Connection made by Judy Morton and I had to copy it. I love it! This paper is only available n the Mini Occasions Catalog until April 30th and I have used about all of mine. I think I will need to get more before it is gone!

Photo Tins!
These were fun and simple to make. If you do not have the tins, you can do the same thing but with a chipboard cover. I made them with a very simple layout. All anyone will need to do is add their photos!

Shadow Box Seasons!

This little shadow box holds 4 pages. One for each season. The first one is Spring.

Then behind it is Summer, Autumn and Winter.

I attached a ribbon on the inside back of the box. When you pull the bow, the pages come out with it so you can get them out to change them easily.

These are blocks I made from scrap 2x4's.

Timeless Treasures!

This set is great for a Redhatter's Club. I used Poppy Parade and Concord Crush.

To make the holder, Cut a piece of Cardstock 7-1/2" square. Fold in half , turn and fold in half again.

The cards are 3" x 3".

Candles for the Craft Show!

These are fun little projects to create. I used the Big Shot Top Note folded in half as a bag topper. The candles are from Gold Canyon Candles and smell wonderful!

Bliss is one of my favorite FAVORITE sets. I hope Stampin' Up! makes more and more sets like it.

Key to My Heart!

(click image to enlarge) What a cute idea to give someone special a charm! I made the tab so that when you pull it, the key falls out the back. This way you can get the key out without destroying the card. The heart treat cups are so cute aren't they!

Happy Easter! Vicki made this little guy as a swap card at our Demo Meeting last night. I thought I would put him on a little basket! Isn't he cute! His head is the Ornament Punch, his paws are the Scallop Punch, his ears are the large and medium Oval Punches, his nose is the tip of the Flower Punch petal and his eyes are the small heart from the Three Heart Punch.

Printing in My Digital Studio!

I think My Digital Studio is a very User Friendly Program. However, people seem to have problems with printing. It is hard to figure out sometimes because we all have different printers and the settings and capabilities of our individual printers make it difficult to follow one set of rules. On the other hand, there are standard settings that they follow. I have put together a tutorial that I hope will help some print thier cards in MDS. Create your 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Landscape Card front before using this tutorial. Click HERE for the tutorial to print your card.

Paper Bird!

This bird is on page 173 of the 2011 Idea Book & Catalog and I just had to try him!

I started by cutting the pattern out, using my bone folder to score about 1/4" on each side of the top and bottom piece and cutting little snips out of the curves.
Then apply Sticky Strip to the bird cutout and work the top and bottom pieces around.
He did not want to stand up with the weight of his tail, so I taped a couple washers in his belly.

Triangle Favor Boxes!
My daughter made one of these for our club swap and they are great little treat boxes. This one has peanut M&M's in it for the kids and I made some with Dove chocolates in them for my sister. Start with a 5-1/2" x 3" piece of cardstock and score it in half at 2-3/4". Then score from each corner of the middle fold to the center of the ends.
To punch the holes, I just held my sides together and used my Crop-a-Dile.

Decorate and put your treat inside. Then just thread ribbon through the holes and tie with either a knot or a bow! This is such an easy little box, that you have to stop everything and try it right now!

Designer Wrapping!
I think it is so special to use Designer Series Paper to wrap gifts. It coordinates and you can give a little bit of you style and personality with the gift. This is a shower gift for my Nephew's new bride.

Notice the romantic satin flower....very easy to make. I just punched out a circle, covered it in sticky strip and then pressed my Very Vanilla Satin ribbon in the circle, starting from the outside, working inward. I cut the end and secured it in the center with a glue dot and then added the pearls. I love it! Micky Seerveld Stampin' Up!, Walworth, WI

Photo Shoot with Alek!

I had a Photo shoot with this cute little guy on Saturday. He was adorable! My Digital Studio is a quick and easy way to display a photo! Here is a tip for aligning objects on your MDS page. I aligned the Elephants down on the bottom of the page by holding my control key down while clicking on each Elephant. Then right click and choose "Align". I aligned the Elephants by choosing "Bottom". Very easy! Micky Seerveld Stampin' Up!, Walworth, WI
