Paper Bird!
This bird is on page 173 of the 2011 Idea Book & Catalog and I just had to try him!

I started by cutting the pattern out, using my bone folder to score about 1/4" on each side of the top and bottom piece and cutting little snips out of the curves.

Then apply Sticky Strip to the bird cutout and work the top and bottom pieces around.

He did not want to stand up with the weight of his tail, so I taped a couple washers in his belly.
