"Countryside"

"Fresh Apples". I used the marker watercolor technique in Soft Suede. The apples and the accent cardstock is Poppy Parade. The base cardstock is Early Espresso with Crumb Cake. It was fun doing the clouds. I punched out a Scallop Circle and then used my sponge with Soft Suede and just randomly masked areas of the sky.

Is it too early to think about Christmas?
I hope not because I am enjoying the Christmas sets!
Here are a few from "Christmas in July":

I love the "Welcome Christmas" stamp set. It is a brand new set and comes in clear mount or wood. I cut out an oval from chipboard with my Big Shot and the Ovals Die. Then I used the oval frame instead of the top cutting plate when I embossed the cardstock with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder. That way, I had the oval in the center nice and smooth to stamp on. Shimmer Paint and a Rhinestone Jewel really gave the finishing touches to this card.

From the same 'Welcome Christmas' set, I stamped the wreath and used my 1-3/8" circle punch. The silhouette is stamped on the inside of the card.

I used a circle to make a 'mask' from a post-it note. Using a post-it note helps keep it in place. Then I just sponged around the circle mask. Notice the "Smooch Spray"? It really adds the glimmer and sparkle I was looking for.
The deer is from the 'Winter Post' stamp set.

This card and the next one is from the same stamp set, 'Winter Post'. I used the Watercolor with Markers technique that you can view in the Tutorial page.
Soft Suede and Crumb Cake inks and papers go so well together! Notice the new ribbon border punch!

Hi Stampers!

My daughter, Stephanie, had a Bunco Party and an assortment of Gold Canyon Candles were the prizes. Well, she asked me to decorate the candles and I had so much fun!

Notice the rust on the Truck from the "Countryside" stamp set. Yes! It is the spritzer tool! And just a touch of Bashful Blue in the windows looks like glass.

These cute boxes are made with the Scalloped Envelope Die in the Big Shot. I put 2 of them together and just a block of cardstock on the sides. The perfect size to hold 2 votives. Cute, aren't they! I love the Tempting Torquoise with the Pear Pizzaz. All credit goes to the New Color Coach!

This one has some of the new Pearl Jewels. Another favorite embellishment!

The design for this package of tea lights came right from page 2 of the Stampin' Up! 2010/2011 Idea Book & Catalog. It is my favorite place to look for ideas!

Another package of tealights but this time with flowers!

Keep Visting! I have more card samples to post!
